Submission of Articles

- "Turath" only accepts original articles written in Arabic, English, and French. Submitted articles should be between 30,000 and 40,000 characters (including spaces).

- Authors are required to provide the abstract, keywords, and article title in English

- Each paper must include an abstract between 150 and 250 words.

- Keywords must be listed in alphabetical order and are mandatory for all submissions.

- Papers should be written as a continuous expository narrative in article format.

- Non-Roman Scripts (Arabic): All bibliographic information (title, authors, affiliation, abstract, keywords, and references) must be provided in Roman script.

- Authors must include a cover page with the full title of the paper, the author's full name, affiliation, and email address (institutional email is recommended for submission).

- The author's name should not appear elsewhere in the paper.- Authors must submit their articles via the ASJP platform to the "Turah" journal page.  Link: https://asjp.cerist.dz/en/PresentationRevue/920 
To do so, Authors need to register with ASJP (Algerian Scientific Journal platform) prior to submitting or, if already registered, can simply log in.

- Any article that does not comply with this style sheet will be returned to the author.

- Submitted articles are first reviewed by the journal's secretariat to ensure compliance with the style sheet (Template).
- Once accepted, the article undergoes an initial internal review by the Editorial Committee. At this stage, the article may be:

✔ Accepted as is;

✔ Accepted with revisions, which will be communicated to the author;

❌ Or rejected.

If the article is accepted in the first evaluation phase, it will proceed to a second double-blind review by external reviewers. At this stage, the article may receive:

✔ Two positive reviews, leading to publication;

❌ Two negative reviews, leading to rejection;

➖ One positive and one negative review, in which case a third decisive review will be conducted.

  • After both internal and external evaluations, the final decision (acceptance or rejection) rests with the Editorial Committee.

  • The overall evaluation process (internal and external) is estimated to take an average of 30 days, but this duration may be extended depending on the reviewers.

Article Publication

- Once the issue is published, the author of an accepted article will receive one (01) print copy of the issue, along with a digital offprint.
- A certificate of article acceptance can only be issued after a favourable decision for publication.

Other Sections of the Journal

Authors may submit contributions to other sections of the journal (reviews, scientific information, journal reviews, documents, corpora, etc.).

Copyright

- The author must transfer intellectual property rights to the journal. A commitment letter, available for download in the "Copyright Agreement Form" section, must be submitted.
- All copyright is reserved by the "Turath" journal. Any reproduction of articles or other published contributions requires written authorisation from the editorial director.

Ethical Guidelines

- Authors must adhere to ethical guidelines in the academic field, particularly those related to plagiarism prevention.
- Any author found guilty of plagiarism will have their article rejected and will not be published in the "Turath" journal.
