By endorsing DORA, Turath pledges to:
✔ Promote responsible research assessment by advocating for a diverse range of metrics that provide a fair and comprehensive evaluation of scholarly contributions.
✔ Encourage transparency and inclusivity by maintaining a flexible referencing policy, allowing authors to include as many references as necessary to support their research.

What is DORA?
The San Francisco Declaration on Research Assessment (DORA) was established on December 16, 2012, during the Annual Meeting of the American Society for Cell Biology (ASCB) in San Francisco, California. It aims to improve the ways in which research output is evaluated by moving beyond simplistic impact metrics and fostering more meaningful assessment criteria.
